Way to go...Rebs!

Hotty Toddy
Are you ready?
Hell yea!
Damn right!
Hotty Toddy, gosh almighty,
Who the hell are we?
HEY!
Flim Flam, Bim Bam, OLE MISS BY DAMN!

What I would have given to be in Dallas tonight but instead we had some family and friends over to share in our excitment! It was great! We haven't had a winning season since Eli Manning, so we were over due and with the help of Houston Nutt, we got it! We try and go up for a few games a year, in which my family spends the day in "The Grove" eating, drinking and getting ready for the big game. It is always so much fun.. For you, SEC fans, if you ever get the chance to experience the Grove, it is Sothern Hospitality at it's finest, tailgating will never be the same. Hubby B who is born and raised here in South Florida, had never seen anything like, it wasn't hard for him to find the REBEL deep down inside his Hurricane soul.
But with all the excitment, I'm a little sad. College football season is almost over for the year. On Saturday morning, turning Gameday on always gets me so excited. They tell the history of the schools, the best hidden places to eat (which become not so hidden, kinda like Oprah's favorite things, by the way Oprah is from Mississippi) and interview players. And more than half of the time, there's an SEC team playing. It's become somewhat "our thing" on Saturdays to grill and watch a days worth of football (my hubby B is so lucky I like football). So until next season....

“Ninety-one percent of the nation (a reference to the ESPN fan pool) didn’t even give us a chance. Texas Tech this and Texas Tech that. But we believed in each other and we came out ready. I didn’t need any more motivation.” Marshay Green
